As the highest-level and largest scale sporting events for ethnic minority groups, it was the first time for such event to be held in central China area. With the background of 70th anniversary of the country’s birthday, the significance of this event has become even more important.
The event has been divided into three main parts. Total of five national intangible cultural heritage performances from various minority groups have been used in the show to illustrate the colorful life and history of the minority group people. At the same time, it has brought a brand-new conception for the audience to by blending ethnic culture with sport events together.
